Pygmalion, 1923
Born in 1892 in Lancashire, Orlando Greenwood is an English artist known for his classic set pieces and still life art. He studied art at the Goldsmiths’ College School of Art, followed by Army service in World War I. After World War II, Greenwood gave up painting and moved to Cumberland.
He is best known for his use of vivid colours and an incredible eye for detail.
